Top of the Pops, 17th May 2018

This week we have a lot of long runners and a couple of big new hits, from Childish Gambino (his first ever appearance on the show) and friend of the show Jess Glynne. Straddling the two categories is First Time by M-22 and Medina, which pops up to number 17 to get a TOTP debut in its ninth week on the chart.

This week's TOTP exclusive comes from Khalid, who gives us a medley of new hit Youth and old fave Love Lies. Calvin and Dua hold firm at number 1, making it a month on top.

Top of the Pops, 3rd May 2018

In a week with several big new entries, Ariana Grande has the biggest - but she can't dislodge Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa. Nevertheless, Ariana turns up to bring us not only a spirited rendition of No Tears Left To Cry, but a sensitive one-off contribution to Khalid's Love Lies.

Other new hits come from Anne-Marie and EO, plus a whole bunch of them from man of the moment J Cole. Maren Morris's long runner provides a big of chart continuity, presented here in acoustic form. And we pay tribute to Avicii.

Top of the Pops, 29th March 2018

The highest new entry this week is a novelty single: Lil Dicky and the dashing Chris Brown turn TOTP Thursday into Freaky Friday. Also making chart inroads are XXXtentacion, Khalid and Normani (of Fifth Harmony, or possibly ex-Fifth Harmony), and the indestructible Sigala.

We have a couple of special exclusives, too. Florida Georgia Line are back with a solo rendition of Let Me Go, their Hailee Steinfeld co-credit, and Maren Morris leaves the DJs at home to bring us an acoustic version of The Middle.

PS If you're wondering where Rudimental have got to, the problem is that they've been a non-mover for weeks and weeks, stuck behind Drake. Apart from the number 1 we only feature chart climbers, so they haven't been on much. Sorry, hat guy, but those are the rules.

Debuts: Lil Dicky.
