Top of the Pops, 11th April 2024

Buoyed by the release of her album, Beyonce skips back up to number 1! She's in the studio this week performing the track of the moment once again, alongside her 21st century, non-weakness-admitting version of Jolene, which seems very her.

Also with a second hit is Benson Boone, one of several impressive chart climbs this week that also include the Blessed Madonna, Mark Ambor, Meghan Trainor and even Jungle. Rudimental are back as well, and Natasha Bedingfield pops up again as Unwritten's impressive second life continues.

Two big names have new entries this week: Lana Del Rey and Kylie Minogue both do well with their fresh material. David Kushner is also back with his Hozier-style, inexplicably popular balled.
