Out of nowhere, Eminem tops the chart! Wow. The show also features new or newish songs from Fred Again and Charli XCX, repeat visits for the enduring hits from Mark Ambor and Blessed Madonna, and a couple of double-headers from Gunna and (in a rather extravagant performance) Chappell Roan. Seismic news this week: not only do we have top music icon Taylor Swift; not only do we have the red hot artist of the moment Olivia Rodrigo; but both have agreed to collaborate on a special performance of Get Him Back! Incredible scenes.

Dance music has had a great year so far, and this week two veterans of the field each have two tracks to perform - step forward MK (with a cheeky appearance for longtime friend of the show Rita Ora) and Chase and Status.
