Top of the Pops, 20th June 2019

That's five weeks at the top now for Ed Sheeran, and this week he gives us another exclusive performance with good ol' Brendon Urie in the Bieber role; Urie is here to perform his half of the resurgent Taylor Swift track.

Britrap continues to make a strong chart showing as well. This week it's Mostack with two chart climbers, and he brings the usual gaggle of collaborators with him. And we have some interesting new entries from Mabel and Liam Gallagher.

A week of reduced chart activity means that several long-running hits get another crack of the whip. Madison Beer is here without her DJ support to give us a candlelight version of All Day And Night, while Kygo, Jonas Blue and Meduza also represent the EDM contingent.

The big news, though, is the return of King Ed Sheeran. He and Justin Bieber doing impressions of each other are straight in at the top.

Top of the Pops, 9th May 2019

Two earth-shaking entries rock the top five: Taylor Swift returning alongside Brendon Urie, and the mighty Stormzy knocking Lil Nas X off the chart pinnacle.

There's also Rita Ora featuring on a Kygo track, friend of the show Zara Larsson, and two and a half minutes of birdsong from the RSPB, so that's enjoyable.
