There are also chart inroads being made by David Guetta and the exciting new talent Chappell Roan, while Mark Ambor reaches another new chart peak. Clementine Douglas is here with a solo, Madonna-less version of Happier. And the world-weary stylings of Hozier are still at number 1.

International superstar Jung Kook is also resurgent, and Olivia Rodrigo hits the top 20 with yet another new track.

Harry Styles continues to fry all opposition with the force of his pure loveliness, even Jack Harlow who can only reach number 2 (still hugely impressive from him). Not too shabby either is Cat Burns, who makes the top five for the first time.

There's a raft of new tracks on the show this week, including Digga D, Vibe Chemistry and Becky Hill and Ella Henderson trying to out-belt each other, plus a Tyga/Doja Cat collaboration that's spent a few weeks in the lower reaches already. Momentarily taking some of the spotlight from King Ed Sheeran, none other than Kanye West blusters into town, riding a wave of three big instahits from his latest album. But even their star power might not quite match up to the combined wattage of Elton John and Dua Lipa. Or from a global perspective, BTS.

In addition, there's let another new track from hit machine Doja Cat, a David Guetta song that's been bubbling under for the last six weeks, and a very impressive chart climb by Glass Animals. And dancefloor royalty Becky Hill raises the tempo as always.

This week we have two examples - from Jason Derulo, David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Willy William, and Fredo, Young T and Bugsey - so A+ for effort to them. Fredo actually manages two appearances on his TOTP debut, including the number 1 single alongside Dave.
