Top of the Pops, 8th May 2025

There's quite an exciting crop of new entries this week, spearheaded by the returning Lorde but also featuring Sleep Token and hoary belter Benson Boone.

There are new chart peaks for WizTheMC and debutante Skye Newman, and a surprising appearance for four-year-old Charli XCX song that has just caught fire online. Jack Black is also back, with an even more ostentatious and earth-shaking performance than last time.

Top of the Pops, 24th April 2025

Alex Warren is still fairly uncontested at the top, but there's a notable chart achievement from Sombr, whose multiple tracks on the chart permit a fourth consecutive showing from the new artiste.

Aside from that we have a couple of climbers, a debut and a big re-entry, and a real curiosity in the shape of Jack Black's very short song from the Minecraft film: he makes the most of his screen time with an outlandish costume and a confetti cannon.
