Top of the Pops, 26th February 2026

A couple of cross-media events dominate the show this week (a bit like the Superbowl last week). First we have the Wuthering Heights film: a not-so-bratty Charli XCX performs two of her songs from the soundtrack. And then there's the BRIT Awards bounce for acts including Harry Styles, the K-Pop Demon Hunters, and even Olivia Dean, whose Sam Fender collab skips up to number 1 after around nine months on the chart.

Elsewhere there's a new entry for Bella Kay, a strong chart climb for Dominic Fike, and a second appearance for Bruno Mars's latest cheeky offering. Perhaps the most unexpected appearance is Milky, back from the 00s thanks to a new remix.

Zara Larsson and Sonny Fodera are also chart climbing - Zara bringing a string section for a dramatic rendering of Midnight Sun.

For the second week in a row the top 40 offers very few climbers, so several of the guests are probably quite surprised to have been invited. Bucking the trend are two strong new entries from stalwarts the Arctic Monkeys and Harry Styles, the latter straight in at number 1.
