Top of the Pops, 30th June 2022

Big new entries from Drake and to a lesser extent Beyonce have pushed most of the other songs down the chart, so we have to delve a long way to find performers - but we strike gold with fresh tracks from Doja Cat and a triumphantly returning Chase and Status.

It's pretty dance-heavy this week even apart from Beyonce's bandwagon jump: Sigala reach a new peak with their latest hit and LF System inch their way into the top three. Tom Grennan will please fans of more singer-songwriterly material.

Debuts: Talia Mar

Chase and Status - Mixed Emotions

Top of the Pops, 9th June 2022

It's a big week for returns. Friend of the show Dua Lipa has been pretty quiet this year, but she appears here alongside Calvin Harris. But bigger than that, Lady Gaga is back on the show too! But bigger than that, Kate Bush is back in the chart! So we see one of her classic performances from the 80s.

It was also about time the Lizzo track got a second airing (and she sticks around to help out Jack Harlow), Tion Wayne and Benzz both reprise their recent hits, and Harry Styles is immovable at number 1.

Top of the Pops, 4th September 2014

This week's TOTP concentrates much more than usual on the lower reaches of the chart - a bubbler-under from George Ezra, a re-entering oldie from Kate Bush dug out of the archives, and a former number 1 from Kiesza.

Elsewhere, Iggy continues to climb, Sam Smith shows no sign of going anywhere, and there are sparky new entries from Ariana Grande and Lethal Bizzle. The song Prayer in C scraped onto the show last week as rendered by one of those weird studio covers people, but now we have the proper Schulz-assisted version from Lilly Wood atop the chart.

Debuts: Tempa T, Lilly Wood

Kiesza - Hideaway

Up 1 to number 39

Lethal Bizzle ft. JME & Tempa T - Rari WorkOut

In at number 11

George Ezra - Blame It On Me

Up 19 to number 43

Iggy Azalea ft. Rita Ora - Black Widow

Up 8 to number 7

Sam Smith - Stay With Me

Up 1 to number 15

From the Vault: Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill

Back in at number 51

Ariana Grande ft. Zedd - Break Free
