Top of the Pops, 13th March 2025

After spending most of last year stuck at number 2, Chappell Roan finally makes it to number 1! Congratulations to her.

And commendations also to Olivia Dean, who takes her Bridget Jones tune into the top 40, rapper-of-the-moment Doechii, and enduring chart occupier Benson Boone who enters with his newest track. The big winner from the BRITs is Myles Smith, while Alex Warren is looking strong and presents two songs here (he also has a third on the chart).

Top of the Pops, 30th January 2025

Just like that, after a slow start, the 2025 chart picture explodes into colour. There's a richly deserved new number 1 from Lola Young, a big new entry for Central Cee, and exciting chart climbers from Doechii and Sam Barber. Plus a double header from international megastar Bad Bunny.

Sam Fender is also coming back up the chart, though his singles success doesn't yet match the size of his media profile or the live crowds he plays to. There's still a bit of 2024 continuity as well, from two of the artists of last year, Gracie Abrams and Teddy Swims.

Debuts: Sam Barber, Avery Anna, Doechii

Sam Barber ft. Avery Anna - Indigo
