2024's parade of gravelly-voiced, whiskey-soaked, wizened troubadors rolls on with none other than Hozier making a slightly unexpected vault into pole position. Only a little behind him are Artemas, Dasha and Djo, all on impressive runs.

Good Neighbours are back too, as their single continues to bubble under, while new material comes from J Cole.

It's a big week for Nines, who appears with two new tracks, guest stars in tow - and his hit Tony Soprano from last week is riding high as well. More fresh sounds come from Tyler the Creator, while at the other end of the scale are Glass Animals whose phenomenon of a track has now spent well over two years on the chart.

Friend of the show Zara Larsson is welcomed back, we remember Carlos Santana for some reason, and Calvin and Ellie make it four at the top.

Ellie Goulding and Calvin hold on at the top (stripped back solo performance from Ellie this week) but they are run close by Libianca, who peaks at number 2 after several months on the chart. Also continuing to climb is Bakar, while chart behemoth Lewis Capaldi has in incredible resurgence thanks to the release of his album.

As the days lengthen, George Ezra appears once again to satisfy his baying public, and there's a new banger from David Guetta and a reprise from Taylor Swift. Drake has the highest new entry.
