Top of the Pops, 11th July 2019

There's a lot of polite shuffling about in the chart this week, which gives us the opportunity to showcase a few hits that have been bubbling under for a while: Dominic Fike, Camila Cabello and Martin Garrix are the beneficiaries.

The Glastonbury effect has been pretty muted this year but the Killers are back in the chart. The summer of britrap continues with an entry from Young T and Bugsey, plus last week's debutant Aitch making it two weeks on TOTP in a row, and the biggest chart movement comes from King Ed Sheeran, whose Beautiful People (aided by friend of the show Khalid) joins I Don't Care (this week co-performed by Lewis Capaldi) in the top five.

Debuts: Dominic Fike, Patrick Stump (without Fall Out Boy)

Top of the Pops, 8th February 2018

Double Drake this week: the great man holds steady at number 1, and also shares the distinction of highest new entry with Migos. There's no Greatest Show tune, sadly, but Hollywood is represented by Liam and Rita's theme from the Fifty Shades film. Sigrid is back, as are Not3s and Mabel, who seem to be on every week just now. The big new track of the moment comes from Rudimental, who show up with all three of their guest vocalists as well as, of course, that guy in the hat.

Debuts: Dan Caplen.

Craig David ft. Bastille - I Know You

Up 5 to number 5

Liam Payne and Rita Ora - For You (Fifty Shades Freed)

Up 6 to number 23

Rudimental ft. Jess Glynne, Dan Caplen and Macklemore - These Days

Not3s ft. Mabel - My Lover

Sigrid - Strangers

Camila Cabello - Never Be The Same

Top of the Pops, 7th September 2017

Taylor Swift booms in at the top in a way that we'd almost forgotten about. Big new release, and if you look carefully you can see Right Said Fred in the audience bopping away as she sings.

Elsewhere, friend of the show Camila Cabello has yet another concurrent hit, and there's more new material from Macklemore and - uh-oh! - Katy Perry. I expect Pink will keep the peace.

Debuts: Macklemore (without Ryan Lewis).

Macklemore ft. Skylar Grey - Glorious

Up 13 to number 23

James Hype ft. Kelli-Leigh - More Than Friends

Up 2 to number 8

Lil Uzi Vert - XO Tour Llif3

The Script - Rain

Katy Perry - Swish Swish

High Climber - Up 29 places to number 29

Camila Cabello ft. Young Thug - Havana
