Top of the Pops, 17th August 2023

After last week's pink dominance, this week Doja Cat's return paints the TOTP studio red. Chase and Status also have a big climber to go alongside their now top ten hit alongside Becky Hill, and several hits from earlier in the summer are climbing back up the chart.

Dave and Central Cee make it ten weeks at the top - often the end of the road for number 1s due to the chart rules. They rope in some other guests to make the performance a memorable one.

It's Dave and Central Cee's week again: Sprinter stays at the top and their two other collabs both reach new peaks just a little lower down. Not even a strong showing from J Hus and global superstar Drake can spoil their party.

Party vibes are also brought by the Jonas Brothers, Rudimental, and in unbelievably basic form, Nathan Dawe and Joel Corry. There's a rousing return for Sam Fender and a pretty surprising instance of Shania Twain as well.
