Top of the Pops, 15th September 2022

It's a big welcome back for two of Britain's remaining bands, the Arctic Monkeys and the 1975. And a huge turnaround for Tom Odell, who is storming back up the chart after ages on the edges. Other than that it's something of a catch-up week, with repeat appearances for some of the biggest hits of the moment from Luude, Central Cee and Steve Lacy. Eliza Rose proves it wasn't a fluke and makes it two weeks at number 1.

Top of the Pops, 1st September 2022

We've had a summer with a fair few long-running hits but things get shaken up a bit as we go into the autumn. Nicky Youre is a new face, BlackPink are back after a long gap, Fred Again has crept into the top 40 and there's a big new hit from Aitch and King Ed Sheeran. Even Harry Styles hasn't been on for a bit.

Some continuity is provided by a second appearance from Rosa Linn and the immovable constant of LF System at number 1, still holding Eliza Rose at bay.

Debuts: Nicky Youre, Dazy

Nicky Youre vs Dazy - Sunroof

Up 4 to number 29

BlackPink - Pink Venom

In at number 22

Harry Styles - Late Night Talking

Up 5 to number 12

Up 7 to number 40

Rosa Linn - Snap

Up 3 to number 23

Eliza Rose - BOTA (Baddest Of Them All)

Non-mover at number 2

Eighth week at number 1
