It's an almost entirely transatlantic week, with only Jonas Blue and friends of the show Little Mix flying the British flag - and even they are both in collaboration with American acts.

Top of the Pops, 19th July 2018

Chart history is made, as Three Lions leaps 23 places to hit the very top thanks to World Cup fever and some wholly acceptable performances from the brave England lads. Baddiel and Skinner, and at least some of the Lightning Seeds, come into the study to join the celebration.

It's almost a shame, since other things that would be big news - a new anthem from Drake, Green Day back in for some reason - are relegated to the footnotes. Never mind though - let's see how long the nation will stay football crazy.

Debuts: None

M-22 ft. Medina - First Time

Drake - In My Feelings

Highest New Entry - In at number 4

Tiesto and Dzeko ft. Preme and Drake - Jackie Chan
